## What you can ask once Supermetrics is connected

- Show me last week's spend and conversions for every Google Ads account
- Which Meta campaigns had the highest cost per lead this month?
- List the fields available for the LinkedIn Ads data source

## Connect Supermetrics in Elaichi

This happens once for the organization, before any client is involved.

1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Supermetrics.
2. Optionally set Share with, then press Connect.
3. Approve it in Supermetrics. Supermetrics's own window opens. Whoever approves it decides what this connection can reach.

Credentials are vaulted and nobody, including the AI, reads them back. The connection becomes a toolbox immediately, so you can curate which Supermetrics tools are exposed, rename them, or freeze arguments before anyone points a client at it.

## Supermetrics MCP connector for Claude

Endpoint: https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp

1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
2. Press Add.
3. Name it, paste the MCP server URL, then Continue.
4. Sign in and approve.

On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds it once. Everyone else turns it on for themselves.

## Supermetrics MCP connector for ChatGPT

Endpoint: https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp

1. Open Plugins, then press the + button.
2. Name it and paste the endpoint into Server URL.
3. Leave Authentication on OAuth, then tick the risk acknowledgement.
4. Press Create, then sign in and approve.

Works on the web today. The plugin directory lives at chatgpt.com/plugins.

## Supermetrics MCP connector for Cursor

Endpoint: https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp

1. Open `~/.cursor/mcp.json`.
2. Add the endpoint under `mcpServers`.
3. Reload Cursor, then sign in and approve.

Set up per machine, so repeat it on each computer you work from.

## Connect Supermetrics to any MCP client

Endpoint: https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp

1. Add the endpoint as a remote MCP server.
2. Sign in and approve.

The Elaichi Agent already has these tools, with nothing to set up.

## What the consent screen decides

Only Read is granted by default, which is not enough to call a Supermetrics tool. Over MCP there is no trusted place to confirm a write in the moment, so the consent screen is the standing approval rather than a formality. Grant Read and Run tools. Think hard before granting Delete, which reaches into connected apps and cannot be undone.

## What teams do with Supermetrics through Elaichi

### Check yesterday's spend before the standup

Paid media. Ask for spend, clicks and conversions across every connected ad account and get the numbers from Supermetrics without opening a single platform. Pause or adjust a campaign that is overspending from the same conversation.

### Build the weekly performance report in minutes

Marketing. Pull the week's campaign metrics from Supermetrics, group them by channel and draft the summary for the team meeting. The dashboard can be updated in the same pass.

### Find the right field before writing a query

Analytics. Ask which data sources and fields Supermetrics offers for a platform, then run the query and collect the results when a longer one finishes. No more guessing at metric names in a spreadsheet.

### Answer a client question from live numbers

Client services. When a client asks how their campaigns did this month, ask Supermetrics for that account's figures and reply with real metrics rather than a stale export. Business context for each client stays attached to the answer.

### Pick the ads that are actually working

Creative. Ask which creatives drove the best cost per result across campaigns and pull the ones worth repeating. Compare performance across platforms without stitching exports together by hand.

### Read the marketing dashboard without logging in

Leadership. Ask for the headline numbers from the Supermetrics dashboards you care about and get a plain answer. Compare this month against last without waiting for someone to send a deck.

## Elaichi vs Zapier MCP vs Composio for Supermetrics

All three can connect Supermetrics to an AI assistant, and all three have admin controls. They differ in where access lives and how you pay.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I connect Supermetrics to Claude?

Connect Supermetrics in Elaichi first: pick Supermetrics, sign in to your Supermetrics account over OAuth and approve access, with no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Claude will sign you in to Elaichi as yourself, and Supermetrics is available from then on.

### Does Supermetrics work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once Supermetrics is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Supermetrics once and every client picks it up.

### What can an AI agent actually do with my Supermetrics data?

An agent can find out which data sources, fields and ad accounts Supermetrics has, run queries for spend, clicks and conversions across them, and collect results from queries that take a while. It can also fetch and manage campaigns, read and update dashboards, pick creatives, keep business context up to date and manage users and teams in Supermetrics. Short, concrete asks such as last week's Meta spend by campaign work better than long paragraphs.

### Does connecting Supermetrics give the AI access to every account and data source?

No. Every call runs as the person who signed in to Supermetrics, so the AI sees only the ad accounts, data sources and dashboards that person can already see in Supermetrics. Elaichi can narrow that further by role or restriction, but it never widens what someone could do on their own.

### Can my team share one Supermetrics connection?

Yes. One person connects Supermetrics in Elaichi and shares it with a team, and nobody else ever handles a credential. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so the audit log names the actual person behind every Supermetrics query or campaign change.

### Can I stop an agent from changing campaigns or dashboards in Supermetrics?

Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi work per action, so you can allow reading Supermetrics metrics while blocking campaign changes, dashboard edits or user management. A restricted action is never advertised to the AI client at all, so no prompt can reach it.

### What happens to a Supermetrics connection when someone leaves?

Offboarding that person in Elaichi ends their Supermetrics access through every client at once. A shared Supermetrics connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you want it gone entirely, disconnecting Supermetrics once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other client.

### Does the Supermetrics MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. Supermetrics is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

### Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Supermetrics?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Supermetrics. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Supermetrics call.

### How is Elaichi different from Composio for Supermetrics?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Supermetrics: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
