## What you can ask once Wayfair is connected

- Which Wayfair dropship purchase orders are waiting to ship?
- Summarize this week's Wayfair fulfillment order cancelations.
- Show inventory adjustments across all Wayfair warehouses.

## Connect Wayfair in Elaichi

This happens once for the organization, before any client is involved.

1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Wayfair.
2. Optionally set Share with, then press Connect.
3. Paste your Wayfair app credentials. Wayfair authenticates the app rather than a person. One person supplies the credentials once, and everyone else works through Share with.

Credentials are vaulted and nobody, including the AI, reads them back. The connection becomes a toolbox immediately, so you can curate which Wayfair tools are exposed, rename them, or freeze arguments before anyone points a client at it.

## Connect Wayfair to Claude

Endpoint: https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp

1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
2. Press Add.
3. Name it, paste the MCP server URL, then Continue.
4. Sign in and approve.

On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds it once. Everyone else turns it on for themselves.

## Connect Wayfair to ChatGPT

Endpoint: https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp

1. Open Plugins, then press the + button.
2. Name it and paste the endpoint into Server URL.
3. Leave Authentication on OAuth, then tick the risk acknowledgement.
4. Press Create, then sign in and approve.

Works on the web today. The plugin directory lives at chatgpt.com/plugins.

## Connect Wayfair to Cursor

Endpoint: https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp

1. Open `~/.cursor/mcp.json`.
2. Add the endpoint under `mcpServers`.
3. Reload Cursor, then sign in and approve.

Set up per machine, so repeat it on each computer you work from.

## Connect Wayfair to any MCP client

Endpoint: https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp

1. Add the endpoint as a remote MCP server.
2. Sign in and approve.

The Elaichi Agent already has these tools, with nothing to set up.

## What the consent screen decides

Only Read is granted by default, which is not enough to call a Wayfair tool. Over MCP there is no trusted place to confirm a write in the moment, so the consent screen is the standing approval rather than a formality. Grant Read and Run tools. Think hard before granting Delete, which reaches into connected apps and cannot be undone.

## What teams do with Wayfair through Elaichi

### Accept the morning's dropship purchase orders

Operations. Ask for every new Wayfair dropship purchase order, review them in one list, and accept the ones you can fill before the acceptance window closes.

### Mark dropship orders shipped with tracking

Warehouse. When boxes leave the dock, tell the agent the carrier and tracking numbers and it ships the matching Wayfair purchase orders so the customer gets notified.

### Push today's stock counts to Wayfair

Inventory. Save updated quantities for your SKUs and check the inventory summaries and recent adjustments to make sure Wayfair is not selling what you no longer have.

### Acknowledge CastleGate orders and shipping advices

Supply chain. Pull the open CastleGate purchase orders and shipping advices, confirm what you can supply, and acknowledge them without opening Partner Home.

### Create, check and cancel fulfillment orders

Fulfillment. Raise a fulfillment order for a customer shipment, look one up by its ID when someone calls to ask where it is, and cancel it if the order falls through.

### Submit new products and fix catalog listings

Merchandising. Draft a product addition against the right Wayfair taxonomy category and brand, track the submission and any questions Wayfair asks, and update catalog items or item groups when details change.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I connect Wayfair to Claude?

Connect Wayfair in Elaichi first: pick Wayfair from the catalog and paste in the app credentials from your Wayfair supplier account. There is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then open Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp as the endpoint. Sign in with your Elaichi account and Wayfair purchase orders, inventory and catalog items are available in your chat.

### Does Wayfair work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once Wayfair is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Wayfair once and every client your team uses can reach it.

### What can an AI agent actually do with my Wayfair data?

With Wayfair connected, an agent can list your dropship and CastleGate purchase orders, accept or acknowledge them, and mark dropship orders as shipped with tracking. It can save inventory quantities, show inventory summaries and adjustments, create, look up and cancel fulfillment orders, and read warehouse and CastleGate shipping advices. On the catalog side it can submit product additions, follow up on submission questions, browse Wayfair taxonomy categories, brands and media tags, and update catalog items and item groups.

### Does connecting Wayfair give the AI access to my whole supplier account?

The AI only reaches what the Wayfair account you connected can reach, so it works inside the same supplier permissions you already have in Wayfair. Elaichi can narrow that further, for example read-only on purchase orders for one team, but it can never widen it beyond what Wayfair itself allows. Every call is recorded in an append-only audit log.

### Can my team share one Wayfair connection?

Yes. One person connects Wayfair in Elaichi and shares the connection with a team, and nobody else ever handles the Wayfair app credentials. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so the audit log names the person who accepted a purchase order or changed a stock count, not a shared account.

### Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Wayfair?

Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi work per action, so you can allow reading Wayfair purchase orders and inventory while blocking shipping, canceling fulfillment orders or updating catalog items. A blocked action is never advertised to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor at all, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.

### What happens to a Wayfair connection when someone leaves?

When you offboard someone in Elaichi, their access to Wayfair through every client ends at once. A shared Wayfair connection keeps working for everyone else on the team, because it does not depend on the person who left. If you ever want to remove Wayfair entirely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other client together.
