Deel MCP connector
The Deel connector brings people, contracts, time off, groups and legal entities into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, so each person can look up and update Deel records within their own access, with every call logged.
-
How it connects. Connects with an API key. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.
-
One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.
-
Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.
How to connect
How to connect Deel to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
Two steps, about a minute.
In Elaichi
Connect Deel once
-
Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Deel.
-
Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.
-
Paste a Deel API key. One person generates a token in Deel and pastes it once. Everyone else works through Share with, and never sees it.
The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.
Add connection
Choose a connector.
In your AI client
Point it at one endpoint
Everyone in the organization uses the same address, and each person only ever reaches what their own account allows.

The Elaichi Agent already has these tools, with nothing to set up.
Use cases
What teams do with Deel through Elaichi
Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.
-
People
See who works where, right now
Ask for everyone on the team in a given country or group and get the list from Deel without building a report. Pull up one person's record when a question comes in about their start date or entity.
-
People
Set up a new contract after the offer
Once a candidate accepts, have the agent create the Deel person and draft their contract with the terms from the offer, then review it before anything is signed.
-
Managers
Approve and adjust time off in plain language
Record a team member's vacation in Deel, move the dates when plans change, or remove a request that was entered by mistake, all from the chat you already have open.
-
Finance
Review contracts before the payroll run
List every active Deel contract by entity or currency and spot the ones that started, changed or ended this month so the numbers match before payroll closes.
-
Legal
Keep legal entities current as you expand
Add a new Deel legal entity when you open in a new country, and update registered details when an address or name changes, so contracts point at the right entity.
-
Operations
Organize people into the right groups
Create Deel groups for departments, regions or cost centers, move people between them as teams change, and retire groups that are no longer used.
Try asking
- “List contractors whose Deel contracts start next month.”
- “Show approved Deel time offs for the design team.”
- “Which Deel people have no active contract?”

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect Deel to Claude?
In Elaichi, choose Deel and paste in the API key from your Deel account; that is the whole sign-in step, and there is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste the endpoint https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Claude signs you into Elaichi over OAuth and your Deel records are available in the conversation.
Does Deel work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?
Yes. Deel is connected once in Elaichi, and the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, is added to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. Each client signs in over OAuth, so there is nothing separate to set up per client.
What can an AI agent actually do with my Deel data?
With Deel connected, an agent can list the people in your organization and open any one of them, create people and contracts, update a contract, and record, change or remove time off. It can also manage groups and legal entities and set up webhooks that notify other systems when something changes in Deel. Short, concrete asks work best, such as "list contracts in the Germany entity" rather than a long paragraph.
Does connecting Deel give the AI access to everyone's contracts and pay details?
No. Every request to Deel runs under the access of the person who signed in, so an agent sees only the people, contracts and entities that person could already see in Deel. Elaichi can narrow that further, for example to read-only or to a subset of actions, and it never widens what Deel itself allows.
Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Deel?
Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi apply per action, so you can allow reading Deel people and contracts while blocking the actions that create contracts, delete time off or remove legal entities. A blocked action is never advertised to Claude, ChatGPT or any other client, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.
What happens to a Deel connection when someone leaves?
When a person is offboarded in Elaichi, their access to Deel through every client ends at once. A Deel connection shared with a team keeps working for everyone else, because the key was never in that person's hands. If you want Deel gone entirely, disconnect it once in Elaichi and it disappears from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other client together.
