06 · Your data
Is it safe to connect AI to company data?
Yes, with clear limits you set. Here is where your data lives, in plain words, including what is stored outside your region.
- You pick the region
- EU, US or APAC, chosen when you sign up. It cannot be changed later, so nobody can quietly move your data.
- What stays in your region
- If you pick EU or US, your company's Elaichi data, the AI's work in your apps, and the logins for the apps we connect all stay in that region.
- What is stored elsewhere
- User sign-ins, sessions, company sign-on settings and your account and billing record sit in shared global storage. The activity log, for every region, is kept in the EU for 90 days. Files the AI saves are also kept in the EU.
- Your chats stay with your AI
- Elaichi never sees your conversations with the AI. It only sees the action the AI wants to take, and runs it in your apps at that moment.
- Nobody handles your passwords
- Your team signs in to each app themselves, and we never ask for a password. Logins are stored encrypted and are never shown to anyone, person or AI.
- You control our access
- We join your account as a team member with the access you choose, and you remove us when we are done. What we do in your apps is recorded in your activity log. You can also turn off Elaichi support access.
You own what we build
The setup, the instructions we write for your AI, and everything it produces belong to you. They live in your Elaichi account and your own apps, not in a system of ours.

What is Elaichi Services?
AI consulting, automation and integration from Elaichi. Our forward deployed engineers learn how your company works, then set up AI that does the repetitive work inside the apps you already use, with your data kept in the region you choose.
Who can set up AI inside our existing apps if we are not technical?
We can. Our engineers do the setup. From your side we need someone who does the work every day, and an admin who can connect your apps and approve the plan.
Should we hire an AI consultant, an automation agency or forward deployed engineers?
A consultant gives you a plan, an agency builds one-off automations, and automation software needs your own people to build it. Forward deployed engineers give you advice and a working setup in your own apps. If you only want a strategy report, a consultant fits better.
Do you offer AI integration services?
Yes. We connect your AI to the apps you already use, such as your CRM, accounting software and support desk, from a catalog of 700+ apps, then set up the work it does there, inside the access rules you set.
What is a forward deployed engineer (FDE)?
An engineer who works directly with your team instead of from a distance. Elaichi's forward deployed engineers learn the work with your people, set up the AI in your own apps, test it on real work, and stay until it is part of how your team works.
Do you build custom AI agents?
Yes. For each job, we give your AI the instructions, the app access and the steps it needs, so it works as a custom AI agent for that job, inside the access rules you set.
What kind of company is this for?

Will it work with the AI assistant we already pay for?
Yes, with any AI assistant that supports MCP, an open standard for connecting AI to apps. You are not locked in: if you switch assistants later, the setup comes with you.
Is it safe to connect AI to company data?
Yes, with limits you set. The AI can only use the apps and actions you allow for each person, the actions it runs are recorded in your activity log, logins are stored encrypted and never shown to anyone, and Elaichi never sees your conversations with the AI.
Is it GDPR compliant, and can our data stay in the EU?
Elaichi's GDPR page and Data Processing Agreement explain how personal data is handled, and the Trust Center holds the reports. Pick EU when you sign up: your company's Elaichi data, the AI's work in your apps and the logins for the apps we connect stay in the EU. The activity log is kept in the EU for every region.
Will your team see our data?
Only what the access you give us allows, like any other team member. What we do in your apps is recorded in your activity log, and you remove our access when we hand over.
Who owns what you build?
You do. The setup, the instructions we write for your AI, and everything it produces live in your Elaichi account and your own apps.
Why do AI pilots fail, and how do you get to daily use?
Most stall because the AI cannot reach the apps where the work happens, nobody trusts it with company data, or nobody looks after it once the demo is over. We build in your real apps, with access rules and an activity log, and stay until your team uses it every day.
What if you do not support one of our apps?
We add it for you, including tools your own team built, with the same access rules and activity log as everything else.
What happens after handover?
Your admins run everything from Elaichi. The written guide covers adding people and apps, changing who can do what, and checking the activity log.
