Alchemer MCP connector

The Alchemer connector brings your Alchemer account users, teams, contact lists and contact custom fields to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any MCP client, so each person can manage them in plain language inside their own Alchemer access.

  • How it connects. Connects with an API key. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

How to connect

How to connect Alchemer to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Two steps, about a minute.

In Elaichi

Connect Alchemer once

  1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Alchemer.

  2. Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.

  3. Paste an Alchemer API key. One person generates a token in Alchemer and pastes it once. Everyone else works through Share with, and never sees it.

The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Alchemer to Claude?

Two steps. First, connect Alchemer in Elaichi by pasting your Alchemer API key when prompted; there is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Sign in as yourself and Alchemer is available in Claude.

Does Alchemer work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once Alchemer is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Alchemer once and every client you use picks it up.

What can an AI agent actually do with my Alchemer data?

With Alchemer connected, an agent can list the users and teams in your Alchemer account, create or update a team, add or remove people from it, and manage the custom fields attached to your contacts and the contact lists you keep. Because Alchemer offers many actions, short concrete asks such as "add Maria to the CX team in Alchemer" work better than long paragraphs. Everything it does is written to an audit log with your name on it.

Does connecting Alchemer give the AI access to my whole account?

No. Every request runs as the person who signed in, so an agent can only see and change the Alchemer users, teams, contact lists and custom fields that person could already reach. Elaichi can narrow that access further with restrictions, and it can never widen it beyond what Alchemer itself allows.

Can my team share one Alchemer connection?

Yes. One person connects Alchemer in Elaichi and shares the connection with a team, so nobody else handles the Alchemer API key. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so every action in Alchemer is logged under the name of the person who asked for it.

Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Alchemer?

Yes. In Elaichi you can block individual actions for Alchemer, such as deleting a team, removing a user or editing a custom field, while leaving read and create actions open. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT or any other client, so no prompt can reach it.

What happens to an Alchemer connection when someone leaves?

When you offboard a person in Elaichi, their access to Alchemer through Elaichi ends immediately across every client. A shared Alchemer connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you disconnect Alchemer once in Elaichi, it disappears from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other connected client at the same time.
