Younium MCP connector
The Younium connector brings subscription accounts, invoices and payment details into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and the Elaichi Agent, so each person can look up, update and bill within their own Younium access while every call is logged.
-
How it connects. Connects with an API key. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.
-
One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.
-
Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

Use cases
What teams do with Younium through Elaichi
Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.
-
Finance
Credit an invoice without opening Younium
Ask for the invoice by number, check the lines, and issue the credit from the conversation. The credit lands in Younium exactly as if you had done it there.
-
Billing
Raise an invoice straight from an order
When an order is ready to bill, ask for the invoice to be created from it, or put a one-off charge directly on the account. Cancel a mistaken invoice the same way.
-
Customer Success
Brief yourself before a renewal call
Get the account summary, its active subscriptions and any open invoices in one answer, so you walk into the call knowing what the customer is paying for and whether anything is overdue.
-
Support
Send an invoice copy while the customer waits
Pull up the customer's invoices in Younium, generate a link to the PDF attachment, and pass it on without leaving the ticket.
-
Sales
Set up the account once the deal closes
Create the Younium account with the right company details and request the payment details link to send to the customer, all from the same chat you used to write the close email.
-
Revenue Operations
Catch an account up after a change
Update the billing address, contact or payment details on a Younium account when the customer tells you something changed, and check the subscriptions still match what was agreed.
Try asking
- “Summarize the Acme account and list its open invoices”
- “Create an invoice on the Northwind account from their latest order”
- “Which accounts have unpaid invoices older than 30 days?”

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect Younium to Claude?
In Elaichi, choose Younium and paste in the API key from your Younium settings; there is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Sign in to Elaichi when Claude asks, and Younium is available in your conversations.
Does Younium work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?
Yes. Younium is connected once in Elaichi, and the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, is pasted into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. Nothing has to be set up again per client.
What can an AI agent actually do with my Younium data?
It can look up, create and update Younium accounts, show the subscriptions and payment details on an account, and give you an account summary. It can list invoices, create an invoice from an order or directly on an account, credit or cancel one, and fetch a link to the invoice PDF. Short, specific asks such as a company name or invoice number work better than long sentences.
Does connecting Younium give the AI access to every account and invoice?
No. Every call to Younium runs as the person who signed in, so the AI sees only the accounts and invoices that person's Younium access already allows. Elaichi can narrow that further with restrictions, but it can never widen it beyond what Younium itself grants.
Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Younium?
Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi apply per action, so you can allow reading Younium accounts and invoices while blocking deletion, cancellation or credits. A restricted action is never advertised to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor at all, so no prompt can reach it.
What happens to a Younium connection when someone leaves?
Offboarding the person in Elaichi ends their access to Younium through every client at once. A shared Younium connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you ever want to remove Younium completely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other client.
Does the Younium MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?
Yes. Younium is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.
Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Younium?
Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Younium. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Younium call.
How is Elaichi different from Composio for Younium?
Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Younium: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
