Zoho Mail MCP connector
The Zoho Mail connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent search, read, and organize a person's Zoho Mail inbox, folders, attachments, and account settings, with every action recorded under that person's own name.
-
How it connects. Connects over OAuth. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.
-
One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.
-
Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect Zoho Mail to Claude?
Connect Zoho Mail in Elaichi first: you are sent to Zoho's own sign-in page, you sign in with your Zoho Mail account and approve access, and the connection is ready. There is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp as the endpoint. Claude will ask you to sign in to Elaichi once, and from then on it can work in your Zoho Mail.
Does Zoho Mail work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?
Yes. Once Zoho Mail is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Zoho Mail once and every client you use picks it up.
What can an AI agent actually do with my Zoho Mail data?
An agent can search your Zoho Mail for messages from a person or about a topic, read a thread and summarize it, list and download attachments, and create, move, or delete folders to keep the inbox organized. Administrators can also review account storage, allowed IP addresses, display names, and subscription details across the organization. Because Zoho Mail exposes a large number of actions, the agent looks up the right one for each request, so short concrete asks like "find last week's emails from Acme with attachments" work better than long paragraphs.
Does connecting Zoho Mail give the AI access to every mailbox in the organization?
No. Access follows the person who signed in to Zoho Mail, so the AI sees the mailboxes, folders, and organization settings that person can already see and nothing more. Elaichi can narrow that further, for example limiting a team to reading and searching, but it can never widen what Zoho Mail itself allows.
Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Zoho Mail?
Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi work per action, so you can allow searching and reading Zoho Mail while blocking folder deletion, storage changes, or edits to allowed IP addresses. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any other client at all, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.
What happens to a Zoho Mail connection when someone leaves?
Offboarding a person in Elaichi ends their access to Zoho Mail through every connected client at once. A shared Zoho Mail connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you want to remove Zoho Mail entirely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client together.
