Cashfree Payments MCP connector
The Cashfree Payments connector brings transactions, orders, settlements and reconciliation reports into Elaichi, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and the Elaichi Agent can answer questions about them inside each person's own access.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect Cashfree Payments to Claude?
Connect Cashfree Payments in Elaichi first: a browser window opens, you sign in to your Cashfree Payments merchant account, and the connection is made over OAuth. There is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp as the endpoint. Sign in to Elaichi when Claude asks and Cashfree Payments is ready to use.
Does Cashfree Payments work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?
Yes. Once Cashfree Payments is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Cashfree Payments once and every client picks it up.
What can an AI agent actually do with my Cashfree Payments data?
An agent connected to Cashfree Payments can look up a transaction, search orders and transactions, tell you the unsettled amount and the next settlement date, and search standard, on demand and vendor settlements. It can also check on demand settlement limits, eligible funds and charges, generate recon and summary reports, and download them when they are ready. Short concrete asks, such as a date range and an amount, work better than long sentences.
Does connecting Cashfree Payments give the AI access to my whole merchant account?
No. Every call into Cashfree Payments runs as the person who signed in, so the agent sees only the transactions, settlements and reports that person can already see in Cashfree Payments. Elaichi can narrow that further by role and by restriction, and it never widens it.
Can I stop an agent from changing things in Cashfree Payments?
The Cashfree Payments connector reads transactions, orders and settlements and generates reports; it does not delete or edit payment records. Even so, restrictions in Elaichi work per action, so you can block report generation or any other action for a team. A restricted action is never advertised to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, so no prompt can reach it.
What happens to a Cashfree Payments connection when someone leaves?
Offboarding a person in Elaichi ends their access to Cashfree Payments at once, across every client they used. A shared Cashfree Payments connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you want it gone entirely, disconnecting Cashfree Payments once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other client.
Does the Cashfree Payments MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?
Yes. Cashfree Payments is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.
Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Cashfree Payments?
Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Cashfree Payments. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Cashfree Payments call.
How is Elaichi different from Composio for Cashfree Payments?
Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Cashfree Payments: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
