Harmonic MCP connector

Connect Harmonic to Elaichi and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any MCP client can search and enrich companies, people and investors, and manage your lists, with each person signed in as themselves.

  • How it connects. Connects over OAuth. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

  3. Approve it in Harmonic. Harmonic's own window opens. Whoever approves it decides what this connection can reach.

Use cases

What teams do with Harmonic through Elaichi

Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.

  • Sales

Build a target account list before outreach

Ask for companies that match a segment, such as Series A fintech in Berlin, and have them added to a Harmonic list with headcount and funding filled in. The rep starts the week with accounts, not a blank search.

  • Investing

    Source new companies every morning

Pull the companies that match a thesis and have raised recently, then enrich each one with founders, investors and growth signals from Harmonic. What used to be an hour of tabs becomes one ask.

  • Recruiting

Find people who just changed roles

Search Harmonic for engineers or operators who recently left a company on your watchlist and save them to a candidate list. The recruiter reaches out while the move is still fresh.

  • Partnerships

Map who already backs a company

Before a partner call, ask which investors sit on a company's cap table and which other portfolio companies overlap with yours. The brief writes itself from Harmonic records.

  • Marketing

Size a segment for a campaign

Ask how many companies in Harmonic fit a profile, say healthtech with over fifty employees in the US, and save the set as a list for the campaign. The count and the audience come from the same place.

  • Research

Keep custom fields up to date

After a diligence call, ask the agent to record the notes, score and stage in the custom fields on the company's Harmonic record. Nothing lives only in someone's notebook.

Try asking

  • “Find seed stage fintech companies in Berlin that raised this quarter”
  • “Add the companies from my AI infrastructure search to the Q3 list”
  • “Which investors backed the companies on my Series A watchlist?”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Harmonic to Claude?

In Elaichi, choose Harmonic and sign in on the Harmonic screen that opens, then approve access. There is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Harmonic now appears in Claude, and short concrete asks tend to get better results than long sentences.

Does Harmonic work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once Harmonic is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Harmonic once and every client picks it up.

What can an AI agent actually do with my Harmonic data?

It can search Harmonic for companies, people and investors that match a description, enrich a record with funding, headcount, founders and investors, and add or remove companies from your lists. It can also fill in custom fields on a record. What is available depends on what your Harmonic account has set up.

Does connecting Harmonic give the AI everything in my workspace?

No. Every call runs as the person who signed in, so the agent sees only the Harmonic companies, lists and custom data that person can already see. Elaichi can narrow that access further for a team or a toolbox, and it can never widen it beyond what Harmonic itself allows.

Can my team share one Harmonic connection?

Yes. One person connects Harmonic in Elaichi and shares it with a team, and nobody else ever handles a credential. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so the audit log names the actual person behind every search or list change in Harmonic.

Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Harmonic?

Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi apply per action, so you can allow searching and enriching Harmonic records while blocking changes to lists or custom fields. A restricted action is never advertised to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor at all, so no prompt can reach it.

What happens to a Harmonic connection when someone leaves?

Offboarding that person in Elaichi ends their access to Harmonic through every client at once. A shared Harmonic connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you disconnect Harmonic in Elaichi, it disappears from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other client in one step.

Does the Harmonic MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. Harmonic is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Harmonic?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Harmonic. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Harmonic call.

How is Elaichi different from Composio for Harmonic?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Harmonic: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
