Outreach MCP connector
The Outreach connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent read and update the prospects, accounts, calls, mailings, and events in Outreach, with each person signed in as themselves and every action logged.
-
How it connects. Connects over OAuth. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.
-
One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.
-
Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.
How to connect
How to connect Outreach to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
Two steps, about a minute.
In Elaichi
Connect Outreach once
-
Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Outreach.
-
Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.
-
Supply your own Outreach app, then approve. Outreach needs an OAuth app you register yourself, so bring its client ID and secret. One person does this once for the organization.
The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.
Add connection
Choose a connector.
In your AI client
Point it at one endpoint
Everyone in the organization uses the same address, and each person only ever reaches what their own account allows.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect Outreach to Claude?
First, connect Outreach in Elaichi. Outreach connects over OAuth, but it asks each company to register its own OAuth application inside Outreach, so someone with admin rights brings a client ID and secret once and then signs in with their normal Outreach login. Second, in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Nobody else on the team ever handles the client ID or secret again.
Does Outreach work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?
Yes. Once Outreach is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Outreach once and use it from whichever client you are in.
What can an AI agent actually do with my Outreach data?
An agent can look up prospects, accounts, and users in Outreach, create new prospects and accounts, and update them after a call. It can log calls, send mailings, and read mailing events such as opens and replies to tell you who has engaged. Because Outreach exposes a lot of actions, short concrete asks like "log a call with Dana at Acme" work better than long paragraphs.
Does connecting Outreach give the AI my whole Outreach workspace?
No. Every request runs as the person who signed in, so an agent sees only the Outreach prospects, accounts, and mailings that person can already see. Elaichi can narrow that further by team or by action, and it can never grant more access to Outreach than the person already has.
Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Outreach?
Yes. In Elaichi you can block individual actions for Outreach, such as deleting prospects, deleting accounts, or removing users, while leaving reads and updates available. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any other client, so no prompt can trigger it.
What happens to an Outreach connection when someone leaves?
When you offboard someone in Elaichi, their access to Outreach through Elaichi ends at once. If they had shared an Outreach connection with a team, it keeps working for everyone else. Disconnecting Outreach once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client at the same time.
