Textmagic MCP connector
The Textmagic connector brings your dedicated numbers, sender IDs, subaccounts, and team users into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any MCP client through one governed endpoint, so each person works inside their own Textmagic access with every action logged.
-
How it connects. Connects with an API key. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.
-
One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.
-
Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

Use cases
What teams do with Textmagic through Elaichi
Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.
-
Marketing
Pick a dedicated number for a campaign
Ask which Textmagic numbers are available in a given country, choose one, and add it to the account before the campaign goes live. Retire the number afterward without opening Textmagic.
-
Support
Set up a branded sender ID
Create a sender ID for the help desk so customers recognize who is texting them, and check the sender settings that apply to it.
-
Operations
Open a subaccount for a new region
List the existing Textmagic subaccounts, spot which regions or brands already have one, and create a new subaccount for the team that is launching next.
-
IT
Keep team users current in one pass
Review every user on the Textmagic account, update details for several people at once, and clear out old avatars when roles change.
-
Compliance
Check country rules before a send
Pull the list of countries Textmagic supports and the current sender settings, so the team knows which sender types are allowed where before anything goes out.
-
Sales
Review number lookups before outreach
Bring up the phone number lookups already run in Textmagic, along with timezones, so reps know which numbers are valid and when it is a reasonable hour to reach them.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect Textmagic to Claude?
Connect Textmagic in Elaichi first, which asks for your Textmagic API key, and there is no client ID or secret to generate. Then open Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste the endpoint https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. From that point Claude can work with your Textmagic numbers, sender IDs, subaccounts, and users as you, and short concrete asks tend to get the right result faster than long sentences.
Does Textmagic work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?
Yes. Once Textmagic is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Textmagic once and every client you sign into picks it up.
What can an AI agent actually do with my Textmagic data?
An agent connected to Textmagic can show which dedicated numbers are available in a country, add or remove a number, create or remove a sender ID, and open or close a subaccount. It can also list the users on the account and update several of them at once, read sender settings, and check the countries, timezones, and phone number lookups already in Textmagic. Everything it does is something you could do yourself in Textmagic, phrased in plain language.
Does connecting Textmagic give the AI access to every subaccount and user?
No. The agent works with whatever the person who signed in can already see in Textmagic, including only the subaccounts and users their own account covers. Elaichi can narrow that further for a team or a person, but it can never widen it past what Textmagic itself allows that person.
Can I stop an agent from deleting numbers or subaccounts in Textmagic?
Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi apply per action, so you can allow listing and creating in Textmagic while blocking deletion of numbers, sender IDs, or subaccounts. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT, or any other client, so no prompt can reach it.
What happens to a Textmagic connection when someone leaves?
Offboarding a person in Elaichi ends their access to Textmagic through every client at once. If they connected a shared Textmagic account, that connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. Disconnecting Textmagic once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client together.
