How do I connect Wix to Claude?
Connect Wix in Elaichi first, which asks for your Wix API key and nothing else, so there is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste the endpoint https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Sign in with your Elaichi account and Wix products, orders, contacts, and tasks are available in Claude.
Does Wix work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?
Yes. Once Wix is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, any other MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Wix once and every client picks it up.
What can an AI agent actually do with my Wix data?
An agent can look up, create, and update Wix products, find and update orders or cancel one a customer no longer wants, and manage contacts by creating, editing, labeling, or merging them. It can also create and update Wix tasks so follow-up work is written down where the team already looks. Because the Wix connector covers a lot of ground, short concrete asks such as 'cancel order 1042' get better results than long paragraphs.
Does connecting Wix give the AI access to my whole store?
No. Every request runs as the person who signed in, so an agent can only reach the Wix products, orders, contacts, and tasks that person could already open in Wix. Elaichi can narrow that access further with roles and restrictions, and it can never widen it beyond what Wix itself allows.
Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Wix?
Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi work per action, so you can allow reading Wix orders and contacts while restricting deleting products, canceling orders, or removing contacts. A restricted action still appears in Elaichi's tool search, flagged as restricted, but Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, or any other client cannot run it, whatever the prompt says.
What happens to a Wix connection when someone leaves?
Offboarding a person in Elaichi ends their access to Wix through every client at once, with no action needed in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, or Microsoft Copilot. A shared Wix connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you want to remove Wix entirely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from every client.
