In practice
What teams do with Ecommerce connectors
Drawn from the connector pages in this category, so every line describes something one of these connectors actually does.
Operations
-
See stock by location without opening dashboards
Get inventory location figures, category breakdowns and product counts for each warehouse in one answer, ready to paste into the daily stand-up.
-
Close out the day's completed orders
List the Shopify orders that are finished, check a few by ID, and close them in one batch so the open queue reflects what is actually left to do.
-
Turn a customer issue into a task
Create a Wix task for a delayed order or a stock problem, assign a due date, and mark it done when the work is finished.
Merchandising
-
Add a new product line in one go
Paste a supplier list and create the whole set of Clover items at once, with prices, tags and an item group so they show up together on the register.
-
Tidy a catalog before a launch
Update names and fields on catalog entries, add new assets to a catalog, and remove retired products so the storefront shows the right range on day one.
-
Refresh titles and descriptions across active listings
Pull up every active listing in the shop, spot the ones with thin or outdated copy, and rewrite them in batches. Featured listings can be checked at the same time so the front of the shop stays current.
Support
-
Find an order while the customer waits
Pull up an Ecwid order by number or customer name, check where it stands and what was paid, and send the receipt again without leaving the conversation.
-
Fix a shipping address before the label prints
A customer writes in with a typo in their street. Ask for the order by number and have the shipping address corrected in Ordoro before it leaves the warehouse.
-
Pause a subscription while a customer travels
A customer writes in before a trip. Pull up their Loop Subscriptions subscription, pause it, set the date it resumes, and confirm the next charge date back to them in the same conversation.
Marketing
-
See which search terms bring shoppers
Ask which Bol.com search terms lead customers to your listings and how your product ranks are moving, then decide where to put attention this week.
-
Duplicate an offer for the next campaign
Copy an existing offer, change the commission terms and dates for the new promotion, and see which promotion methods affiliates are actually using before you brief them.
-
Pull quotes for a product launch
Ask for the five star reviews on the new range and get the lines worth quoting. Check which featured carousel and preview badge widgets are live so the quotes land on the store too.
Once it is connected

List branch transfers still open from the Auckland warehouse this week
-

Tool counts are what the connector exposes today; the split is what those tools do.
Hosted sign-in takes a partnership with each vendor, and more are in progress. Until one lands, Your own app means the connector works today — you register an OAuth app once and connect.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How many Ecommerce connectors does Elaichi have?
20+ Ecommerce connectors are in the catalog today, and the list grows as connectors are added. Each one arrives as a set of MCP tools an agent can call through https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp.
Can Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor all use Ecommerce connectors?
Yes. Elaichi exposes one organization-wide endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any MCP client and the Elaichi Agent all connect to that same address with OAuth. Connecting a Ecommerce account once makes it reachable from every one of them.
Do Ecommerce connectors work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?
Yes. Ecommerce connectors are reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call them — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and the Elaichi Agent. There is no per-client setup beyond pointing the client at https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp.
Do Ecommerce connectors need me to bring my own OAuth app?
Most do not. 18 of the Ecommerce connectors use Elaichi's hosted sign-in, with nothing to register. The other 4 ask you to bring your own OAuth app: you register it once with the vendor and connect. Hosted sign-in for those is in progress, a vendor partnership at a time, and when one lands the only thing that changes is that the registration step goes away. Each connector's page says which it is before you start.
Can I stop an agent from writing to Ecommerce tools?
Yes. Tool restrictions apply at role and individual level, and a restricted tool is never advertised to the model, so it cannot be called or guessed at from the tool list. Read-only access to a Ecommerce connector is a matter of allowing the reads and leaving the writes out.
