LoanPro MCP connector

The LoanPro connector brings your LoanPro user directory into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any MCP client, so your team can list every LoanPro user or look one up by ID, with every request recorded.

  • How it connects. Connects with an API key. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

How to connect

How to connect LoanPro to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Two steps, about a minute.

1

In Elaichi

Connect LoanPro once

  1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick LoanPro.

  2. Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.

  3. Paste a LoanPro API key. One person generates a token in LoanPro and pastes it once. Everyone else works through Share with, and never sees it.

The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.

Use cases

What teams do with LoanPro through Elaichi

Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.

  • Operations

See who has a LoanPro account

Ask for the full list of LoanPro users before a team change or a busy quarter, without opening the admin screens to check.

  • Compliance

Review the user roster for an audit

Pull the list of LoanPro users and hold it against your HR records, so you can show an auditor that every account belongs to a current member of staff.

  • IT

Confirm a new hire is set up

After onboarding, ask whether the new person appears among LoanPro users and read back the details on their record.

  • IT

Check a leaver is out of LoanPro

When someone leaves, look up their LoanPro user record and confirm whether an account still exists, then follow up in LoanPro if it does.

  • Servicing

Find out who a user ID belongs to

A user ID turns up in a note or a ticket and you need a name. Ask, and get that LoanPro user's details in the same conversation.

  • Finance

    Count LoanPro seats before renewal

List every LoanPro user to see how many accounts you are actually carrying before the contract renews.

Try asking

  • “List LoanPro users added to the servicing portfolio this month.”
  • “Show the LoanPro user record for account id 48217.”
  • “Which LoanPro users are assigned to collections right now?”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect LoanPro to Claude?

Connect LoanPro in Elaichi first: LoanPro connects with an API key, so you paste the key from your LoanPro account into Elaichi and the connection is ready. There is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp as the endpoint. Sign in with your Elaichi account and LoanPro appears in Claude.

Does LoanPro work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once LoanPro is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. You connect LoanPro once and every client you use can reach it.

What can an AI agent actually do with my LoanPro data?

Through this connector an agent can list all the users in your LoanPro account and look up a single LoanPro user by ID. That means you can ask who has a LoanPro account, check whether a new hire or a leaver appears in the list, or find out which colleague a user ID belongs to. This connector reads LoanPro user records; it does not reach loans, borrowers or payments.

Does connecting LoanPro give the AI everything in my LoanPro account?

No. The connection runs inside the access of the LoanPro API key you entered, so an agent can only see what that key is allowed to see, and this connector only covers LoanPro user records. Elaichi can narrow that access further with restrictions, and it can never widen it beyond what LoanPro itself permits.

Can my team share one LoanPro connection?

Yes. One person connects LoanPro in Elaichi and shares the connection with a team, and nobody else ever handles the LoanPro API key. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so every request to LoanPro is recorded in the audit log under the name of the person who made it.

Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in LoanPro?

This LoanPro connector only reads user records; it has no action that deletes or changes anything in LoanPro, so an agent cannot alter a user through it. Restrictions in Elaichi also work per action, so you can switch off either of the two LoanPro actions for a team if you wish. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT or any other client, so no prompt can reach it.

What happens to a LoanPro connection when someone leaves?

When you offboard someone in Elaichi, their access to LoanPro through Elaichi ends at once, in every client they used. A shared LoanPro connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you want to remove LoanPro entirely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other connected client.
